How do I set up the internal Modem in the G3 Series Powerbooks?
Setting up your internal modem using LinuxPPC is possible using Kernel 2.1.127 or above.
The easiest way is to use X Windows: Start X Windows. From a shell, or a command line: netcfg you can then set up a new interface for ppp0. your modem is at /dev/ttyS2
Set up your login, name serves, etc as needed by your paticular provider.
Should be all set.
You can of course, go to your dev dir (cd /dev) and link ttyS2 to modem if you so choose.
