Trackpad and mouse buttons

I HAVE A PBG3 -1998 WALLSTREET i want to know how to use a right mouse button with my tracpad can I do this?

If option 2 and option 3 are working, you have to click and hold down the mouse button AND THEN, while still holding it down, press option and 3 or whatever. This brings up the contextual menu for, say, your Gnome Panel Applets, properties, etc. You will notice when you get this working that you can 'right click' an RPM package and select 'install' from the contextual menu.
Same goes for option 2, if you want to move a Gnome Applet from the left side of the Panel to the right, click AND HOLD the mouse, and THEN press option 2.
It took me a while to figure this out.
