Apokalypse: DR3 (but better) on CD (8/98)
Recently (June 98?) a third party has begun distributing pre-DR3 on CD for those of you who can't download it over a 28.8 modem. Details are avilible from the site http://www.gate.net/~mclinux/.

They mirror from Apple's site daily, so you should get the most up-to-date distribution. Current price is $25 and shipping's $3-5 depending on your continent. (They also offer tech support if you're willing to pay extra.)

Apparently the Apokalypse distribution is just a mirror of ftp.mklinux.apple.com burned onto a CD. Folks looking for a pre-DR3 CD should probably support LinuxPPC. The LinuxPPC CD (in addition to the LinuxPPC monolithic kernel) also contains the kernel and everything you need for a pre-DR3 installation. See "What's included with the LinuxPPC CD?"
