(Answer) (Category) Linux on PowerPC FAQ-O-Matic : (Category) Distributions :
Red Hat Installer for MkLinux
There are two distributions with a Red Hat based installation set. The first is the LinuxPPC February 1998 CD. It is based on Red Hat 4.2 and the installer is similar to the LinuxPPC installer. If you have this CD and install MkLinux you will get an identical "userland".
The second distribution is the new MkLinux DR3. MkLinux DR3 is based on Red Hat 5.0. The new installer adds some additional features. You can find more information on the new MkLinux distribution at http://www.mklinux.apple.com. (Currently DR3 is in pre-release status.)
