KDE: The K Desktop Enviroment

KDE has a lot of features including standard drag-and-drop, a built-in graphical file manager/web browser/ftp client, many built-in apps and a built-in HTML-based help system.

The current version of KDE is 1.1.2, which includes a theme manger and many stablity improvements and new features over KDE 1.0.

KDE 2.0 will be released this winter, an will add several revolutionary features including an intergrated office suite, and many more.
