I can't recompile the kernel: make depend fails
To succesfully recompile the linux-pmac kernel, you need the right modutils package.

The one distruibuted at ftp.linuxppc.org doesn't work; there's an option to
genksyms that's missing.

Get the source RPM for modutils from ftp://cap.anu.edu.au instead. It is located
in the SRPMS directory off the linux-pmac 'home' directory.

Just do an rpm --rebuild on it; works out-of-the-box.
