Linux on PowerPC FAQ-O-Matic : X Windows : Problem Starting X Windows
	If you have problem in starting X Windows .. If you only see gray color in your monitor with black mouse cursor... try reinstalling it from the rpms package. Install with the command rpm -ivh --force <package to install>. Install all package with a filename that start with X .... try it ... maybe it can help you from hours of research. dark_menace@gurlmail.com
