Problem with USB Device on iMac RevC
After downloading linuxppc, I restarted the iMac, and selected linux in the bootx menu. It proceeded to load up linux, then hung trying to find the usb mouse and keyboard. This is the message displayed:
USB-HUBM: Device attachment detected on port 1 of hub 0xc0659040 (0 -1) USBD: Device 0xc3fc4240 (0 2) uses protocol specification 1.16; I only understand until 1.0; cannot use it. USBD: Cannot get device descriptors: errno/usb -22/-113 USBD: Device id 0x00000000 (0 2) disconnected; detaching USB-HUBM: Cannot attach device to port 1 of hub 0xc0659040 (0 -1): errno/USB -22/-113
It then repeats, exact same lines of text. Yanking both the USB keyboard and mouse allows it to go to the graphical installer, but then the mouse does not work. It will, however, work with just the mouse.
