6500 OpenFirmware: Part 2
OK, this is obviously not an answer...This is a question that I hope to get answered...lol
So anyway, I read about that 6500 open firmware boot vars, thanks for posting that.
But anyway, I have tried for MANY hours trying to boot LinuxPPC using boot vars (I installed quik and I want to bypass MacOS from now on) and i failed.
scsi/sd@1:0 - unknown device or something i do dev scsi ls and it lists sd@0,0 and st@0,0 I am really lost. I have tried many possibilities and all have failed. Does ANYONE have ANY idea on how to get boot vars to boot off a SCSI disk on a 6500? I would appreciate some help! =) And yes I read many other pages and non have helped.
