My PBG3/Wallstreet doesn't play audio CDs
If xplaycd seems to make the disk go around but no sound comes out, this is for you:
From MacOS, set the Expansion Bay as the sound source before booting into LinxxPPC with BootX. (A control strip module does this.)
I also use xmixer with modest success.

Ok... this used to work for me. Now I have MacOS9, 2.2.14p9, and I have lost CD Audio on my PBG3. Help?

Go back to 8.6! I had same problems in addition to mounting mac vols. My environ:Wallstreet II with Linux on an ext scsi drive and using BootX app. Booting with 8.6 resolved the audio and mac vol mounting issues (dirs appeared as files with OS9).

I finally upgraded to LinuxPPC 2000 (2.2.15pre3) and now it works fine.
