What is LinuxPPC Lite?
[Nov. 18 1998] LinuxPPC Lite is a "small" version of LinuxPPC Inc.'s LinuxPPC Release 4.0. It's about 75 megabytes in size, and the installations range from about 20 to 140 MB.

Lite was designed primarily for magazines who want to distribute a PowerPC Linux distribution. It will be appearing on several popular Macintosh magazines. It is available for download, but it will be much easier to install off the CDs that the magazines will distribute. LinuxPPC Inc. does not plan on distributing Lite on a CD at this time.
