--------
Based on what I DID TO INSTALL MK-LINUX;
Use Apple's HD SC setup. (this works for APPLE DRIVES ONLY);
(if you have a non-apple drive, Apple's HDSC setup can be patched to
allow it to work with third party drives. Info @ http://mklinux.apple.com)
Select the Drive you wish to partition.
MAKES SURE YOU DON'T NEED ANY DATA IN THIS DRIVE,
AS YOU PROBABLLY WILL ERASE IT.
Click on Partition. Select Custom
Follow the instructions and
create first partition (about 80 megs)
set it to type AUX ROOT
create second partition (about 400 megs)
set it to type AUX USR
create third partition (about 2 * RAM )
set it to AUX SWAP.
you are done!
good luck.
