MacOS 8.5 freezes with netatalk |
| Make sure your virus software is up to date. I had Disinfectant (I know, it's old, it's old...) and WormGuard running. Whenever I'd copy a file to my Netatalk machine the Mac would hang. Permanently. Disabled the anti-virus software and backed up my hard drive! Apparently the newest versions of NAV and Virex do not cause this problem; older ones may (from the netatalk mailing list archives). brad@teched.com.au | |
