| Compiling MySQL3.22.32 was the toughest part for me.... I got the tarball from one of the MySQL.com mirrors. I found that I needed to set [mysql-src]$ CC=gcc; export CC and [mysql-src]$ CXX=gcc; export CXX before running ./configure. Without these the defaults of gcc and c++ are used and failed after about 2 hours of grinding on my 7100/80. After that, php and apache were relative breazes. I more or less followed the documentation that came with the php-3.0.16 source and it went fine. posted 6July00 devinleedrew@netscape.net | |
