(Answer) (Category) Linux on PowerPC FAQ-O-Matic : (Category) X Windows :
How do I set up tkdesk to work with tcl7.6?
Download the source from the tkdesk homepage

http://sun1.rrzn-user.uni-hannover.de/~zzhibol/tkdesk/

and compile it. You need to edit the top Makefile, and change "-ldb"
in OTHERLIBS to "-db" (i.e., delete the "l").

NOTE: For linux-pmac, I found that most of the default configurations
in the TkDesk Makefile were not right, but they are easily
remediable (just change the paths for the tcl/tk/X11 includes and
libs.
