netcfg I have had success using netcfg to configure ppp dial-up. You might want to check out this link for step-by-step instructions: http://nitro.med.uc.edu/DR3web/netcfg.html kppp If you have kde installed, kppp is very user friendly. Quick tips to use "netcfg" with DR3 * start an X session (startx) as root * start an X terminal session * type "netcfg" - see above URL for help - enter hostname, domain, and nameserver(s) - click "interfaces" and then "add" - select "PPP" and click "OK", then enter phone # and login info, click done * type "modemtool" and select "cua0" (modem port) or "cua1" (printer port) * type "usernet" and click on the button by PPP0 to connect it will turn green when the connection is activemilby@milby7.com | |
