(Answer) (Category) Linux on PowerPC FAQ-O-Matic : (Category) PowerPC Linux : (Category) LinuxPPC for PCI Macs : (Category) Installation :
What is the boot process to boot mklinux?
First, you boot into regular Macos.

There is an extension called "mklinux" which runs while your macintosh is starting, and allows you to select whether to boot into MacOS or MkLinux.

During your MkLinux install, you will have chosen the "default OS" to be either MkLinux or regular MacOS

As the system is booting, you can press "Escape" to boot the "non-default OS"
