Since MkLinux DR3 is now in full release status, getting it is slightly different
than from before: Everything is now availible at: ftp://ftp.mklinux.apple.com/pub/DR3 For a list of mirror sites, download at: ftp://ftp.mklinux.apple.com/pub/Mirrors Don't forget to read the README_DR3; among other things it contains very useful instructions regarding installation. To obtain a distribution of Mklinux on cd refer to http://www.ptf.com/ jake@subatomic.net, kiki98@concentric.net, inet2@akos.net
LinuxPPC (Linux-pmac) can be purchased on cd from http://www.linuxppc.com/ or
downloaded from ftp://ftp.linuxppc.org/. See the instructions at LinuxPPC.org for more details on what you need to download. wj@duke.edu wj@duke.edu, inet2@akos.net
The Debian installation for the PowerPC is a real
distribution rather than the unofficial RedHat derivative
from linuxppc.org. As a result the Debian installation is
more modern. http://www.debian.org/ports/powerpc/ cort@cs.nmt.edu, inet2@akos.net
Yellow Dog Linux can be purchased on cd from http://www.yellowdoglinux.com/ or downloaded from ftp://ftp.yellowdoglinux.org/. Yellow Dog Linux is an alternative to other RedHat-based PowerPC Linux distros, it features tested and well designed packages to make up a robust and stable server for the internet or intranet. It also can be used for workstations, and it includes populuar graphical workstation software like the GIMP, GNOME, KDE, xemacs and many others. arthur99@global2000.net
