The compiler can't find these libraries: -lsocket -lgen -lnsl -ldl
Shimpei Yamashita writes on mklinux-development-system: What were you using at your Uni, Solaris? None of these libraries exist for MkLinux, but you don't need them--I believe (someone correct me if I'm wrong) all of the functions from those libraries are rolled into libc on Linux. Just try commenting out the three -l's and linking again. It probably will compile fine without them. added by jonh@cs.dartmouth.edujonh@cs.dartmouth.edu
