Yes. The new AMIGA ONE from EYETECH is compatible with "Linux for PowerPC". The new hardware is based on Escena Chipset and come with 600 MHz G3 PowerPC CPU.

This answer (and question) is no longer relevant, as the Escena-designed "AmigaOne 1200/4000" projects have been scrapped.
The motherboards nowadays called AmigaOne "G3-SE" and "XE" are merely relabelled versions of MAI Logic's "Teron CX" and "PX" respectively. ( http://www.mai.com )
