| ive been having trouble with my powerpc g4(agp graphics0 with xconfigurator in linuxpppc to see 16mb and higher resolution but this fbdev when probed by xconfiguraor reports my 16mb ati as 639k?????? i could not get beyond 640x480 modes even in mac os9 i can go up to 1200x1600mode with my 19inch kds monitor
and aon yaboot it's still booting the kernel right from cd instead of 2nd slave hd on 2nd ide port
if the root parition on 2nd ide slave would be hd1:9, and the /boot where yaboot reside is on hd1:8 but in yaboot.conf if i edit changing cd:,vmlinux.2.2.15pre3 to hd1:8,vmlinux.2.2.15pre3 it will fail so i need to know how to tell them it's 2nd ide port slave partion 8?
