xntpd is a daemon that uses the Network Time Protocol (NTP) to keep
your machine's clock synchronized with any number of time servers
on the network, local or otherwise. The canonical FTP site is
ftp://louie.udel.edu/pub/ntp/
and the latest version as of this writing (6 Mar 1997) is 3.5f. Note
that there is a version suitable for export as well as a version
restricted to the US and Canada. Please heed the restrictions; with
a publicly available implementation of DES, the two versions are
pretty much the same.
The NTP home page is
http://www.eecis.udel.edu/~ntp/
I have uploaded copies of the source archives to MkArchive.

Additional Info for PCI Macs:
Currently, MkLinux is unable to read the correct timezone setting out of the Mac
hardware clock. Therefore, you will have to set a 'wrong' timezone in either MacOS
or MkLinux. The problem with NTP is that it relies on the correct setting of the
timezone.
So, you need to make sure that your timezone setting is correct in the OS that you
run NTP in.
