Flashing cursor and blue screen
I am running LinuxPPC 2000 in my Powerbook G3 with 192MB RAM and a 6GB HD. It also has a MacOS partition with MacOS 9.
Every once in a while when I log out, instead of getting the GNOME login screen and window, all I get is a blue screen and a cursor flashing at the top left portion of my screen. There is absolutely nothing that I can do. I have to restart the machine and I almost always damage my filesystem when this happens. I keep getting a kernel panic after that.
I would really appreciate if someone could help me with this. I have heard that this may be happening because I am running MacOS 9.
Thanks,
