I am just posting this message on this FAQ site to attempt to help others who may be tempted to waste their time messing with Linux. Quite bluntly Linux sucks because of the following: (a) There is almost no information in plain language on how to do things (b) Most of the programs within Linux for Macintosh PPCs is related to IBM machines/MS Dos (c) Why try to reinvent the wheel by attempting to build an alien operating system on top of a perfectly good operating system - to get access to the internet, to use a printer, to play some games or to send an email? Itıs already easy to do those things on the present operating system. So Linux is a complete waste of time. Leave it to the people with IBM machines. Maybe they are seeking a more stable platform than the one they already have. There is nothing in it for Macintosh owners. I wasted hours messing with this freak imagining I might have got faster access to the internet or something but there is not one worthwhile thing I can say for Linux. It not only does absolutely nothing that my Mac OS already does but it does nothing period.
