Linux on PowerPC FAQ-O-Matic : Trash : How could I setup the IP number on my Mac under Linux?
	Edit the file /etc/hosts. There should already be an entry for 127.0.0.1, which you want to leave in, and add a new entry. The entry field should look like: <IP NUMBER> [white space] <FULL NAME> Hope this helps. jfaller@nd.edu
