What do i have to do different with a laptop?
in my first tinkering with the new Powerbook G3 Series, i have found that the "media bays" each have different addresses, depending on which side of the powerbook they are plugged into.
for instance, the floppy drive media bay expander is "fd:" when it is in the RIGHT side of a powerbook, but when it is in the left bay, it is considered "fd2:", so i have to set the "boot-device" Open Firmware variables appropriately.
