quik on a 6400 Issues
I'm trying to make quik boot a 6400, but it's not working.
I'm looking at open firmware over serial, and it puts out:
Second-stage QUIK loader Debian GNU/Linux PowerPC (woody)boot: Linux [the label in quik.conf] Starting at 0 no active packageopening display /valkyrie@F1000000DEFAULT CATCH!, code=FFF00700 at %SRR0: 0000F088 %SRR1: 00083070
Then it goes back to the standard open firmware message ("Open Firmware, 2.0 To continue...) except that it has:
boot LinuxCLAIM failed
 ok
and then the 0 > prompt
load-base is set to 100000 boot-device is ata/ATA-Disk@0:1 [the first partion is the one with quik on it] boot-file is Linux boot-command is catch 5000 ms boot [I figure that that should avoid any hard drive spin up problems]
In my quik.conf file, I have
root=/dev/hda1
Right now I'm think that the problem has something to do with the screen, but I have no idea how to progress from here. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!
