Robot strategy: Traverse course using pure odometry. Transmission is dual differential drive (one drive motor, one steering motor). A claw lifts food into a tray strapped to the robot; the claw is lowered when the map indicates that the robot is approaching a mapped food. The tray cannot be emptied, so the robot must arrive at home to score points for returning food home. Pure odometry with no means for error correction proved detrimental to this robot after the first few foods were discovered.
