Hot Gobbler
Team members: Justin Evans, Fred Reiss, Ted Prizio.
Robot strategy:
Navigate using straight and turn-in place operations,
based on dual-differential drive transmission (one drive
motor, one turning motor).
After every each foray into the course, the robot aligns
itself by compliantly backing into a specific corner of the
course near home.
It has a claw to detect and retain the food, but the food
slides along the tabletops, rather than being lifted by the claw.
Named after the Hot Gobbler sandwich at Food Court, this
robot is driven by a little lego driver named Jimmy.
