Editing the password texts

It would be very nice to be able to edit the text in the send secret message (perhaps have it be a meta directory file or the default).

In addition, being able to edit set password and login messages would also be very useful.

Finally, being able to add a hook to (for example) subscribe someone to a mailing list upon initial account creation would be a major plus.
I could think of other uses as well...
